Katharina Deisting is an urban planner from Vienna, Austria currently studying the Master’s programme Sustainable Urban Design at Lund University in Sweden. She focuses on “the in-between” of urban space and communities, delving into specific situations to understand the needs of the people living in them.

Mattias Kallin is an architect from Stockholm, Sweden who graduated from the Vienna University of Technology. He works context-based in all scales, from furniture to cities, and focuses on the relationship between the built environment and social issues through the lens of function and aesthetics.

This website is a showcase of these different approaches to design and planning, differences that have inspired a constant topic of discussion: how to make a lasting contribution to the quality of the built environment and thereby to quality of life through architecture and urban planning.
